Trillby & Chadwick is a speakeasy disguised as a detective agency. It first opened its doors in 2014. Elegant, surprising and story-telling cocktails are the cornerstone of our cocktail bar. Our clientele consists of customers of all ages, both local cocktail lovers and tourists. Behind Trillby & Chadwick stands a very strong service model that surprises both old and new customers with its experiential nature. The bar can accommodate around 50 guests. Currently the cocktail bar is open from Monday to Saturday. In addition to regular opening hours, we also organize private events and private cocktail workshops.
Job description
We are now looking for a Bar Manager, as often called in the industry. You lead the team, take responsibility for the daily operations and you proceed with needed steps for ensuring that every customer gets a better than expected experience. The work consists of both customer service on the floor and behind the bar, as of administrative work. In service, you prepare cocktails in a lively cocktail bar and serve our guests according to the service model, so you also have the basic skills and attitude of a bartender, where enthusiasm, organizational skills, teamwork and willingness to serve play an extremely large role. We are looking for a strong professional with experience in the restaurant industry; working in a cocktail bar; as well as acting as a front person.
You have the passion, the vision and the drive to create new things. You have extensive knowledge in beverages and cocktail trends, and compliment that knowledge with a desire to perfect your knowledge. You have a warm and relaxed service attitude and you want to exceed our guests' expectations. We hope that you will lead your team with excellence, acting as a great role model and team working skills. The entire team is jointly responsible for the product, and one of your main projects is creating a new cocktail list from start to finish. The position is suitably challenging, but also very rewarding. Our customers are genuinely the loveliest, and you will notice that in the work environment.
Fluent Finnish or English language skills are necessary in the versatile role of Bar Manager. Our work language is dependant on the team. The job is full-time and valid until further notice. Working hours are mainly focused on the evening, unlike office work which is carried out during office hours.
